Taking care of a dead body? So kinda reminds me of the ritual for Torajan people where they keep the corpse of a deceased loved one in their bed.

Reminds me of that case in the UK (? I think) where some lady hid the fact her parents were dead so she was living with the corpses of her parents and cashing in their pension checks. They died because she murdered them for confronting to her about her stealing their money

Also another case where some cult had their leader's/figurehead's corpse stay in bed in the cult house continued to be worshipped

People really just be comfy with corpses. Couldn't be me, the smell and flies alone would drive me crazy
