If you are referring to Ryuzaki. He's super asshole as the story progress. To the point makes all the girls (4 sub heroine + 1 main heroine) got hurt by all of his action, especially Shiho, which got traumatized by him


because he think he knows better about Shiho, when it's actually the exact opposite lol 😂

Lol Yeah... He's an interesting character but in a way, it's "against his will".
Being an MC, he's almost tragic, as his "status" is nothing in the face of the "true heroine". The arc (I forget her name) with the one who wants to "break" him is so pathetic for both of them.

He's more cool-headed in the LN.
Maybe because in the LN version, he already got over the fact that the girls leave him for Ryuuzaki, even before he met Shiho.
iinm, in the web novel version he's still dragging on about them leaving him.

Ryuuzaki for better or worse, is also a "character" like the other girls. For outsiders, it might looks like he's having it great, charming girls left and right, and say whatever he wants. But he is trapped in that role without realizing it.

Not as much anymore. Kotaro's presence gives her a safe place, so she doesn't feel so scared of the world anymore.
At the end of volume 1, Shiho tell Ryoma straight to his face in front of public, she hates him. So rather than going to Shiho, Ryoma instead focused his attention towards Kotaro as his antagonist character.

And it's not like she interact with many people. It took long until she properly talk to anyone outside her family and Kotaro.

[Edit] Ah right, there's still time when that power shows up. In later part, Kotaro sometime change his role. Not into mob character like now, but rather into "antagonist". Shiho hates the sound when that happens. Later he also realize because it risk corrupting his personality and he might take actions he would regret later.
