It has to be ska, trumpet with guitar and drums? I can't imagine anything else.
Real question can you have a Trumpet and sax in a rock band and not have it be Ska? Like Ska has a very specific Syncopation to the rhythm. and certain tone they tend to have. But I dunno if there's any other bands with that sound that aren't Ska.

Remember it's Hendrix on the guitar, it can't be ska. Always thought they're playing fusion, somehwere between rock, funk and jazz. It's hard, they have too many mismatched pieces, Hendrix on guitar, punk singer, brass section and even the keyboard player does hits instead of synths/backgrounds...

Now that I think of it, a lot of Prog rock had horn sections too.
