So he probably just wants her healing since it seems to strengthen those that she heals, allowing him to be even more suicidal with his berserk fighting style. I'd feel bad for any white mage he employs, if the one he chose wasn't "special" in her own way.

More realistically i think she might be too shy to even do that, which is why she always failed
