they've done a great job with it but I'd also like to read this before the heat death of the universe starts becoming an issue. That being said I have no clue what group would be interested atm

As much as I love this manga, can the author pick an approach? It's seriously hard to take it seriously when he tries to explain everything scientifically one time and then creates a fire, easily burning living plants and “poison particles”.

Stupid fucking bull demon who has "intelligence on the same level as humans" decides killing a random plant at the cost of his entire platoon is more important than his actual assigned mission of capturing the village. That demon is so fucking stupid. The moment 20% of his platoon had already died on something unrelated to the mission, he should have retreated. It's like if a N*zi platoon leader decided to kill a random particularly big bear instead of capturing the town because he wanted a fur coat, then proceeded to not retreat after his forces started taking serious losses. At some point you gotta wonder whether this random other thing that is just for your own pleasure is more important than the lives of your men and your mission.
