To be fair I don't think it's exactly a CORPSE, because Jelly's body isn't decomposing; I think the slime essentially replaces a lot of the bodily fluids and functions; but Jelly herself isn't "home" anymore.

MC is female so the usual trope has about a 50/50 chance of going either way (ie turning into either a (man/boy or a woman/girl).

EDIT: Well, technically MC is a genderless slime, and going by the style of the manga, turning into a young girl probably has a higher chance.
