Agreed, especially because we already know the deal for the most part from having read the original series. Beru definitely feels like the audience walking Suho through this.

Beru exists for the sake of new readers, the conversation between the two of them offers explanations. It's not a rare thing to see in direct sequels. Just be glad this didn't turn out like The Breaker's sequel, hated that new kid, Beru is at least fun.

I think it's more because Jinwoo was already at a decent level when he got shadows. He was already strong before his shadows, while suho is still a wee babee
