The author health might have been a big reason that this manga ended so suddenly cause it has been mentioned a few times before in author’s notes. Either way, I love this manga so much cause it gave us such satisfactory arcs with the fallen angel or even magical girls cosplay. I am so sad it ended but the few glimpses into kitagawa and wakana relationship as a couple were so so cute. Definitely going to cherish this manga for a long time. Thank you so much translator-San and author-San.

YAY it's finally over. THank GOD for TIME SKIPS!

Good enough ending for me. Mainly just glad it's finally over.

Author talked about fabric too long and we didn't get to see them together at all. About as disappointing of a final chapter as I expected when I heard this was ending.

This ending was terrible. No goodbye scenes with any of our favorite characters? Just a time skip to a pointless scene? Seriously was this ending unplanned? Something about all of this felt rushed and forced.
Yeah, the decision to end the manga here was definitely made within the past ~6 months or so- as recently as the first post-confession chapter they were planting the seeds of them being discovered as the ones behind the Haniel cosplay everyone was going wild over which was clearly meant to be the next major story arc. But I assume that arc in a nutshell would be "they get the opportunity to go pro with their cosplay, dip their toes in that world a bit, and ultimately decide they'd rather keep cosplay as a hobby than make it their job" so the actual end state of the two wouldn't change from what we have here.

I wouldn't even mind a time skip ending that much, if we had gotten some more romance out of them, and the time skip was for later, showing them with their own family, and children.

well that was a soggy mess, this manga had so much potential but focused so much on other stuff rather than the romance. i get that this is a cosplay/doll manga as well but what is that ending then? we never got to see what kind of cosplays marin did in the future and what kind of dolls gojou ended up making that made it unique. sloppy, i got caught off guard that ch.115 is the end i didn't even noticed that they announced it in 114 because there were 0 vibes that the manga is already reaching the end

Whew, for a second there I thought Gramps had passed away. It's already enough of a buzzkill that this series is ending, thank god it didn't end with him being gone.

I am glad that everything ended as it should, but it really looks it was rushed. Which is a shame as it seems like they were building something huge with that manga artist and everyone looking to discover Marin's true identity.

Alas, it seems like we will never know as manga abruptly ended just like that. It looks like either author either gave up on manga and finished it or it was pressured to finish it as it was not profitable anymore.

Whatever the case, manga will be remembered as good one with rushed ending.

Manga 9/10 for sure, ending was 3/10. It came out of nowhere and left some things unresolved.

Boring end ngl. Would still prefer this instead of it crashing and burning like in Oshi no Ko.

I still don't care about the cosplay portions, but we never got to see Wakana get some attention from the cosplay world like it should've happened.

No closure from the other characters too.

We literally spent more time focused on finding Black Fabric than the Romance. Gheeze
The entire Mandate of Heaven Arc was such a drag of a final arc. There's no way this was what the author originally intended. We were only just getting started with Marin's rise to fame, Gojo's accomplishments around his Hina Dolls, and their budding romance. I really can only imagine the man being tired, exhausted, and unable to continue working to conclude it like this.

I've seen far, far worse endings, but this still leaves a sour taste.

Man.... I didn't even think of all of the other characters. Completed relegated to meaningless side characters. What a shame.
