@chusetto @hanime4life she was a rightful cop, but when she investigated a case where some political was assassinated, she discovered how the "people in charge" (whatever you call) is corrupt. She realize how rotten is the system. Her backstory is kinda similar to Harvey Dent becoming Two-Face.

At the end, she reunited with the hitman who loved her
