Depends on the terrain, my problem is that the bear was standing, unless the bear saw the boy as a threat (Extremely unlikely) it should've been on all fours. Way too unrealistic, I was expecting better from a survival manga, I mean out of nowhere he figures out that biting a raw pelt can cure it, but he doesn't get sick from the viruses or bacteria. Granted I can believe his immune system is stronger if he's some kind of boy scout or survival novice. But damn this story could be so much better even without having forced events, Its already extremely hard for a modern kid to learn to survive, but no instead of focusing on the struggle against nature and the learning of viable survival techniques (in a believable manner, like when he ate mushrooms and learned they were poisonous), the focus is on crap drama. If I don't see an improvement in survival quality or a compelling plot line, I'm gonna drop this one.
