While I can't acknowledge the possibility of him getting it despite eating a huge (nutrientless??) feast, that is not how you keep hypoglycemia at bay. Canned tangerines (mikan) contain a hell of a lot of sugar- fruits are high in natural sugars and acids, and the syrup they're often canned with is even moreso. If you eat mostly carbohydrates to stop a sugar crash, you are likely going to have another one. You need protein and fat to help slow down the amount of sugar that cells uptake from the blood, especially if you're prone to hormonal hypoglycemia which is a result of the emergency measures your body takes to stop a sugar crash consistently failing, which he likely would be at this point if he's as 'hungry' as he claimed.

aside from magic or god-blessing, I call this the explanation for the story "A yankee on ancient Krypton". Kazuma brings vibrant yellow-sun rich nutritious food to a 'human' species evolved to live off of a 200 calorie and nutrient sparse diet. Another couple of years of eating his food and the villagers'll be leaping tall buildings, running to Istria in an hour, hunting bare handed, and finally flying.

This is beyond trash now. Their agriculture is at bronze age level, yet their courtesy is already at middle ages?

Something occurred to me. Just about every society prioritizes feeding children and starving older people and parents during famines. I recall some story from youth about an elderly person in a multi generational household walking off to die somewhere. Rare is the culture that has a story about NOT abandoning the elderly during famine, the Athabascans being the only ones with such a myth I can think of... and they practically have an unlimited food supply anyway. Now, why would this be?

If you starve IN A CERTAIN WAY (which is the only way you'll practically starve), stuff happens to your DNA and for the next few generations your descendants will be somewhat stunted. A good example is the Japanese "fang" that we all know and find confusing, which is basically because the Japanese accidentally starved themselves after WW2 (among many other stupid state policies like planting cypress trees everywhere) by replacing "poor" starches in their diet with "pure" white rice. I recall reading something like only 20% or so of the Japanese caloric intake before WW2 coming from rice, whereas it became 60%+ by the 1960s and was only increasing, representing nearly 80% of their total starch intake... races like Ryukyus islanders would obviously be unaffected owing to their never caring much for rice in the first place. This combined with ever-increasing modernization and food processing made them taller... technically... but with deformed skulls, a consequence of which includes a deformed jaw, poorly-developed or not even fully open nasal cavities, and a shrunken skull. A consequence of a smaller jaw includes dental issues of all sorts, among which are the occasional lazy tooth... thereby creating the "sexy fang" which is really a sign of poor nutrition generation after generation. In the USA, this is like seeing grossly obese families with poor teeth - they're fat due to sugar, but they're not feeding their kids the necessary vitamins and minerals. Similar effects occur when things are fortified incorrectly... for example, beans have excess folate (an amino acid/protein), and nixtamalized maize lacks that, so it is commonly said that beans plus maize constitute a complete (but still unbalanced) protein. However, for god knows what retardes reason, sacks of nixtamalized maize are sold with folate added. In incorrect proportion with other amino acids, that can also make you retarded... and hispanics are only buying maize because their culture has taught them to ALSO buy beans and eat them together, only ever rarely apart... because tribes who did otherwise died off. Yet another example is calcium and vitamin d, the former of which increasing vitamin d absorption... but used improperly, also acts as an antinutrient. IIRC, vitamin K does the same... which you get from veggies... but god knows americans who need vitamin d in the first place don't care for veggies, so we're stuck with nutritional supplement that is a pointless compromise.: vit. d + calcium combo pills - useful, but the better alternative is to just eat a salad and fish skin sometimes and plain vitamin d pills othertimes (or just go outside...).

Now, if this guy feeds them rice, they're all gonna wind of all kinds of messed up. but if he imports tractors and imports jewels or the like, they'll probably destroy their land and starve themselves again anyway...

An aside: the Dutch suffered similarly during WW2 due to looting... certain supposed concentration camp races didn't to the same extent, which is rather curious... but in any case, I now have the urge to wonder if only part of the Dutch suffered the epigenetic consequencws of mineral starvation, whilst others were untouched? Could it be they just didn't give a care for their children and let them starve in order to feed themselves? It would almost make sense - SOMEONE has to work, so the adults cannot be totally deprioritized - but in earlier civilizations, taking that step would leave the rest of your society literally mentally stunted for about a hundred years, making you easy picking for barbarians. Perhaps, in the absence of such pressures, the modern person has become more sociopathic? Why bother culling people who treat their kids like trash when there is no existential security risk in keeping them around? In the Mexican Revolution, something similar was about to happen to the heartland... until they got bailed out by the USA in the form of food aid. The heartland, thus saved from virtual obliteration, then proceeded to exterminate several hundred thousand folks on productive agri land in the subsequent cristero war (these were likely the same people who had in disproportionate part fed them in the revolutionary war not long beforehand). The normal check - selfish assholes die in war - had ceased to exist to catastrophic consequences!

EDIT The hypoglycemia is very silly, but now I wonder.... There are many ways to dupe a population, tricking it into trading wealth for nutritionless food (recall sawdust in food). Ah, of course... if you get your carbs, then technically you won't feel hungry. Strange, certainly... your hair might start falling out, miscarriages might skyrocket, lots of stuff might happen... but, superficially, you'll feel okay, at least until you have kids whence the process of gradually figuring it out repeats. To decrease the likelihood someone figures it out in time, decreasing the reproduction age might help... ergo increase the teen pregnancy rate... well god damn, that also started around the 60s and 70s. What was going on back then....
