Summary for people who keep saying they have no idea what is going on. I'm going to skip over a lot of stuff, but it's still going to be long.
- Dude wins a fortune and wants to be away from society, so his Father gifts him an old house to live by himself.
- Dude finds a tunnel to a parallel world in the basement of the house that leads to a village in a parallel world.
- Dude gives the sick village chief a 5-hour energy which turns out to work as a super elixir in this world and completely cures the chief's illness
- Turns out that food from Dudes world gives a super boost to people of the world on the other end of the tunnel.
- Dude likes Agriculture so decides to help the village out with farming and food stuffs.
- Dude provides "real world" food to villages who are now super humans.
- Villages believe dude is the God of the Harvest who had abandoned them a long time ago because they chased him to gain his powers.
- Turns out the original "God of the Harvest" was a guy who lived in dudes house and died in the tunnel between the "real world" and the medieval world that the village resides.
- Villages fail at keeping the "secret" that they know Dude is the God of the Harvest returned after such a long time.
- Dude helps villages build a water wheel because they can't keep using Japanese super foods.
- Water Wheel is discovered by overseeing lord of the village and eventually Dude gets summoned to meet with the lord.
- Turns out Dude can't eat food from this world as it doesn't nourish his body at all. Almost starves to death while visiting the lord, but eats canned peaches from Japan and survives off of that.
- While over there Dude meets the Lords wife who is a General and one of the best warriors of the region and accidentally runs into the daughter of the lord.
- Dude agrees with the lord to help build a water wheel to assist with food shortages across the area.
- During the return trip, the villages who went with him to meet the lord return to the village early and are met by bandits.
- Bandits attempt to rape village chiefs daughter, but all of the villages are super human thanks to real world food and murder all of the bandits.
- BTW village chief's daughter is the main love interest for the Dude. Everyone in the village knows it, but he's a god and she's a normal girl, so the relationship doesn't progress.
- Dude eventually gets back and finds out about the bandit attack, relationship moves forward a bit, but dude has to go back to the real world and restock and catch up on things.
- Dude makes it back with supplies from the real world and brings canned food so he has nourishment since he can't eat this worlds food.
- He gives the plans for the water wheel to the lord and they proceed to build it, but their tools are garbage and they can't make accurate measurements so the water wheel is inefficient.
- Dude goes back again and gets a generator and power tools to make accurate cuts, which is protected by the lords.
- Lord gathers people to assemble water wheel and that's where we are at right now.
As for Sub-plots / relationships
- Kazura is the main character and likes the daughter of the village chief. He tried several times to bring her with him to the real world, but there is a barrier to the forest that he enters and leaves from that won't allow her to go through. This "the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" where the kids go through a Wardrobe to get to another world, but no one else can get through the Wardrobe to return to the real world (except maybe Aslan, but whatever he's jesus lion so he does what he wants)
- Valette is the daughter of the village chief. She's the main interface between Kazura and the villages since he saved her father and all of the sick villages by giving them food. She is the one who lets Kazura know that the villages believe he is the god of the Harvest, although everyone was informed to keep that information that they "know he's a god" a secret. She is extremely intelligent and learns information about Japan and modern agriculture from books Kazura brings over.
- Nelson, the lord of the region that the village is in. He's the one who makes sure finances are correct, collects the taxes and makes sure that everything works properly. From everything we've seen his a good lord who actually cares about the people under him.
- Isaac, one of Nelson's subordinates who was responsible for checking on the village and reporting their taxes. He was the one who reported on the village recovery to Nelson and also the one who found out that Kazura is the god of the harvest thanks to a village kid who couldn't keep his mouth shut and leaked the "secret". He initially thought that Kazura was a fake tricking the village and tried to arrest him, but after finding out that he really was a god "through the forest that no one can pass through" he invites Kazura to meet with Nelso to help with the drought happening in the country. He is courting Nelson's daughter with the intent to marry her. Kazura uses him as a test subject to measure the effectiveness of various foods.
- Lieze is Nelson's daughter and the one that Isaac is courting. She ran into Kazura accidentally in the market once where a misunderstanding ensued. She isn't aware that Kazura is "god" and thinks he's just a rich person who can help out with their current situation, which is drought throughout the countryside. She isn't really interested in Isaac, but she knows that Nelson likes Isaac so she keeps her lanes open to have an excuse to reject Isaac (which also relates to the events in this chapter since she probably sees Kazura as an excuse to reject Isaac).
- Colt and Myra, the village kids that exposed Kazura to Isaac. Not sure if they'll be important later on, but Myra visited the city with Kazura when he meet with Nelson and also taught Kazura about the monetary value of certain items, so they might show up again later.
- Zirconia is Nelson's wife and also the person who helps him run the country. She is a soldier and general as I mentioned before. She is constantly prepping for war and worried about the neighboring country attacking since her original country was destroyed and taken over by that country. She handles most of the planning and foreign policy while Nelson mostly handles finances and management. She is his chief advisor. When she finds out that Kazura is Greysor, the god of the harvest, she immediately sets forth plans to force him to assist the country win their next war. Especially after she sees some of the technology from the god world. Her plans include assigning him a personal maid and having her daughter's personal maid also get assigned to Kazura. Both are "implied" to use any means possible to make sure he stays on good relations with their country including seduction. Lieze's maid is also told to make sure that Lieze and Kazura get closer. She also suspects that Isaac and Kazura might have a thing with each other, but that was mostly a gag. Oh and she's also great a torture / interrogation and extortion. To be certain, if she thought that Kazura actually liked Isaac, she would try to coerce him into marrying Kazura.
- Eira is Lieze's personal maid who is now also Kazura's personal maid
- Greysior is the god of the harvest, basically the name for the Japanese people who come over to this world from the mansion. the previous Greysior was likely Kazura's ancestor and was killed by a greedy lord who wanted to usurp all of Greysior's blessings for himself. It is implied that Kazura's Father is aware of the other world and the secret behind the mansion. He may even know more details about Greysior, but he doesn't reveal any of this to Kazura.
- Havel is Isaac's subordinate. He is aware of Kazura's identity as Greysior. He has a half sister Marie who is a slave maid who he is trying to save from his father.
- Nina is Valetta's friend who would make moves on Greysior, but she doesn't want to get in the way of her friend. She pushes for a stronger relationship between the two.
- Marie is Havel's half sister and a slave. She is being used to blackmail Havel by their father. She is assigned to be Kazura's personal maid by Zirconia through negotiation/extortion. Zirconia believe that Kazura might have feelings for Marie since he invited her to ride with him. She had motion sickness which Kazura helped cure and she feels indebted to him due to his kindness.
Then there's Havels dad, but we don't really know much about him. He's just a bastard who uses his children for his political goals (well more Havel and he uses Marie to control Havel).
I think that's it for the summary. I didn't proofread shit so it probably won't make much sense. ?
