Actually I'm ok with teenagers being embarrassed of holding hand or kissing or whaterver, we all were stupid at that age. Sometimes is funny and can be used to show the development of the couple (like, idk, Nagatoro or Anjou san), but others is just too much.
Other mangas like Ore Monogatari (naming the first one that comes to my mind) have a couple that shows affection in public, and no one cares.
At least give them a real reason to hide their relationship, like in Kaoru hana ha rin to saku (and even there, they still show affection)
