Holy ass ending. I really don’t like light novels they hurt my eyes so. Criticism 1 : We are given a cliffhanger ending where nothing between their bond is changed aside from a misunderstanding. 2: We have two side hoes that probably do have a crush on him and we get no closure on them. 3: We still don’t know shit about Harukis backstory other than her being hated and an accident and her mother being famous. It is never explained what happened to her grandfather. Yeah not good shit 5/10

Ok, yeah, seems like the LN ended, I checked out the translated epilogue and while I couldn't tell you how,

it does look like Haruki does go into acting and idol stuff- so does Saki? Haruki and Hayato do get married and have twins, Hime and Kazuki get married too. Minamo moves to the countryside next door to Hayato's old house?? And seems to be with or around Shinta?? Saki apparently still does her kagura dance yearly even though she's part of an idol group now. Old Man Gen is still alive somehow. Iori and Sen(?) apparently have five kids. Oh and Haruki's mom is dead now

- though the epilogue didn't do anything to answer what was up with that, maybe I'll have to actually read actual chapters to know about what the whole deal with that was. The epilogue really does do a lot of tying up knots.

tbh I don't feel like the source material here would give the people behind the adaptation much to work with.

The premise is neat, but there's fuck all to do with it. If this were a 10-chapter original manga that skipped most of the drama and harem hints I'd be way more charitable towards it than a 400+ LN based off a concept as simple as "this person is not the gender I thought they were when we first met".

Fuck, I've read oneshots in hentai mags with this premise that were better executed and felt more satisfying to read than this drivel.
