I just noticed that, while Credo claims that those cursed by the Ethos Book cannot be hostile to each other, didn't he just attacked Yuuji the first time they met back in Ch.75.1? If it is then maybe Credo already knows Yuuji was an infiltrator from the very start and only feigned ignorance until this very moment? His "wasn't a serious attack" excuse for his assault at Ch.75.1 sounds very dubious though.

Credo probably investigateed the limits of the "prohibition to attack comrades", the knife attack was in his mind to prove MC, possibily a non lethal attack, or maybe if the ethos member wants to heal the target later it doesn't count, hard to tell.
MC thinks that if he kills everybody in the room a self destruction could activate in the place he is, bringing him down too, so he have to leave first, he can't open his own door, probably will have to jump to the experiment location.
Credo couldn't kill the others, but was trying to convince them to join the curse.
