I'm pretty sure it's a mistranslation. I think it actually says something like "Sleeping to recover from the fatigue of using up all of my MP" -- showing that the MC has been diligently training (presumably by using his Clairvoyance skill on everything).

Sticking to chatGPT angle, we wouldn't see it because chatGPT would try to make it into a positive, family friendly story with no jealousy or bullying. Still generic.

I just noticed that, when he was on his bed and yelled "thunder" that that was a very stupid idea. If it would have worked he now has the problem if casting a Thunderbolt right above him.
