Extremely interesting concept, one of the most interesting I've seen in many years. The way that he acknowledges the fact that the gods have such a different mindset that they would kill their friend of 17 years out of hate is very meaningful. Interacting every day for 17 years is significant. The trope of "it's been x amount of years" with little significance behind what happened in that time is something that irks me. If someone is 10k years old, they should act it. One thing that's a bit concerning is the other people of earth that are in the game as well. I'd hate for it to end up feeling bloated and not be able to get a grasp on the new world because of the extreme changes caused by so many people.
