Everything about this manga is so all over the place. Things just keep happening with haphazard pacing and important context and relevant information is just ommited entirely, to the point that 12 chapters in we have no idea how anything works and barely even know what's happening half the time.
When and how did the dungeons start popping up, how do they normally manifest compared to the strange way they seem to be doing it now? Do people need to awaken in some way to become hunters or do they just train, how do people get stronger, does killing monsters give experience, is it a level based system, what about skills?
Like I'm so lost when reading this. Is the mc a hunter now that he awakened a skill? What does his skill even do specifically? If we never read the synopsis you wouldn't even know what his skill does because it's never explained in the manga, not even a breif description in a status panel or anything, what is even the skill's name? Apparently the mc has been going around dungeons and using his skill but none of those situations are ever shown, all of his combat is time-skipped and we don't even get to see any of the progress he's made or what he's earned from his entirely off screen endeavors.
Like what is even the point? It's like the author or mangaka just wanted to rush something out with a completely vague idea of a story that they haven't even figure out yet and even went out of their way to omit everything that makes these types of stories worth reading in the first place. So far it's just been nothing but nonesense fragments of a plot stuck together with chewed gum, the inconsistent and innacurate translations definitely has some part to play but even if we could perfectly understand what's translated, there'd still be much too little to go off of just by what's actually written and presented in this manga. In this case I'd actually rate the translation quality higher than the story itself.
Just a 3/10 utter disappointment all around.
