So, taking into consideration how black pages work in this manga, probably what happened off-screen is that: Yamada hugs Ichikawa, he passes out, she takes a moment to realize, gets flustered, buttons his shirt and let's him rest. As we see on the cover she watches a little over Ichikawa and then leaves.
