The writing of these characters is really natural. Getting a little bit of help from folks here and there, just enough to have a meal and a place to sleep by the end of the day, feels more earned than just crashing at someone's place. It has some wonderfully heartfelt moments for a post-war setting. I also like the LRDG-style grill cutout on Saika's Jeep that makes it look like a set of teeth.
