When it said that she's the chemistry teacher, I didn't realize she taught THAT kind of chemistry.

The teacher is so unnecessarily gross and creepy that it actually completely turned me off to this series.

If the fmc can't trust men and can innately tell when they're trying to get in her pants, that's on those men. Clearly she does fine with the mc, so the problem is that she doesn't have enough decent men around her who wouldn't instantly see her as an object. What kind of brainlet would suggest that she needs to be sexually assaulted to "cure" her "affliction"? I don't even... like it doesn't make any sense to the point that I don't even see what the author was going for. It's something I would expect out of a misogynistic grifter's mouth, not a woman's writing.

I could excuse it as typical "manga nonsense" if the teacher character was completely dismissed (although why even include her at that point?). From what others are saying though, the mc does go along with her idea to move quickly, even if he doesn't actually assault fmc. I think it actually says a lot about the "supposedly good guy mc" that he would even take her words into consideration. I don't even see the point, it's not like there wouldn't have been romantic evolution without the teacher character. Now though, no matter where the story goes it'll be tainted by the fact that the mc was so easily swayed by the words of his fuckup of a teacher. To me at least.

I think you're reading a bit too much into it if you interpreted it as the teacher instigating him to assault her. I think she was just telling him to try to become her boyfriend and to be proactive about it. That being said, I did immediately feel like the whole teacher interaction felt very off, because there's no fucking way a teacher would try to get this involved in the love lives of her students in the first place, and I think it's pretty rare that they would get this involved even when they ought to (like if there's a bullying situation). Like "OH NO, A POPULAR HIGH SCHOOL GIRL ONLY HAS GIRL FRIENDS AND DOESN'T LIKE BOYS, THIS IS CLEARLY A SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT REQUIRES TEACHER INTERVENTION". Bro, plz. It's a pretty severe case of bending the laws of probability in order to orchestrate a wish fulfilment fantasy for some sad, lonely nerd.

Yeah for sure, it's not a person that could exist in real life. Or so you would hope anyways. I've definitely met some weirdo teachers, but they were the ones trying to groom a high schooler, not trying to hook them up like some kind of freaky matchmaker. Never seen that particularly, though with younger kids you do get the "oh look at x and y, they're so cute together, maybe they'll get married some day" that some people do to inflict some kind of romantic insinuation onto innocent kids' friendships. It's usually parents and old people that do that, I have seen teachers do to though so idk.

Really though the "be a wolf" thing has a specific connotation in japan. From what I understand it's the "don't take no for an answer" level of rapey lingo. Like the "she actually wants it, you just have to pry the words from her lips" type of shit. I could be wrong though, this is the kind of language that I could easily see myself misunderstanding. It's just that's how I've seen it used. Maybe I went a little hard.
