fuck right off with your insults. why the fuck should i bother reading your essay lmao also, the mangaka is a man, not woman. dumbass. go read your hetero romance stories and bait yuri. you probably enjoy more of those subtext and non canon yuri cuz you dont want two girls to ever get physically intimate lmao
You're telling me to fuck off with my insults where instead of you acting like the bigger person you turn around and act like a d!ck. Maybe if you read my fucking essays you'll realize that running your mouth about how you see this turning into some straight bullshit is stupid when it fucking won't the author wrote many one-shots of lesbian couples before so they have a track record of not turning something straight. I see the author be referred to as she by others in the fandom more than I see them referred to as he but this is 2024 why do we care about the gender of the author. For your information I have never once went out of my way to read hetero romance or yuri bait because as a Lesbian myself I don't relate to those stories. Yes i do enjoy the subtexts that almost realistically show progression of romance between two teenage girls because romance stories shouldn't force the relationship to progress because of whiny men like you want it to. The author literally said that the relationship between these two girls isn't the whole point of the story and shouldn't be the reason you go out of your fucking way to read this. Its not that I don't want two girls to ever be physically intimate I just want it to be done right and done at the right time when they are already in a pre-established healthy relationship. I have personal experience in my past relationship where the friends of my ex wanted them to kiss me so bad that they played truth or dare for it to possibly happen so yeah i have a reason to be mad a people like you pushing for two girls to get together and be physically intimate when they are obviously aren't ready to.

Sumiko is a feminine name, so it is relatively safe to assume that the mangaka who is named Arai Sumiko is in fact female, not that it matters that much.

The romance aspects of the story are also progressing quite realistically in my opinion. Aya has realized that her crush on Koga is still the same regardless of gender (she might be bi or pan) pretty early on but is too shy to really act on it. Koga seems to be queer, too, but I don't think she has realized it yet (apart from being gnc to some extent) - she is still figuring out why exactly Aya became that important to her.

It's a much better romance than the usual "what does the word love even mean, idk because I have never heard of people having emotions for someone" stuff that is way too common in yuri. And sure it is a slow burn but the chapters are also only 4 pages each due to the twitter format, so it really isn't slower than a manga with 30 chapters of 20 pages each or something.

I'm just hoping that they actually will before the artist loses interest instead of all the .1 chapters being bait.

Right? I had such high hopes of finally finding a fluffy, wholesome yuri manga that doesn't drown itself in dark drama and over the top villainy (ooh let's burn down the girls house and kill her dog! Wtf?!) and it's turned into such a slow burn you could argue that it's bait n switch.

This is feeling more and more like "girls love" and I fear it's heading for the they're just good friends/besties" ending. They've been teasing the physical attraction long enough, it's time to commit.

is the romance only progressing when koga is in her male form? lmao could the mangaka be any more transparent that he doesnt want this to have yuri romance
are you braindead or what? and also it's not her "male form," she's still a girl when she's dressed like this. it's just how she prefers to be dressed, it's not her fault that she gets percieved as a dude that way. do you just not understand the concept of mascs and butches orrrrr
