Then a loan shark is going to sell his sister? Like the entire plot device to make him bankrupt is centered around ideas that died with feudalism honestly.

It seems more likely that the loan sharks are just lying to the kid to trick him into paying them WAY more money then he should, but honestly at that point I gotta say the kid is retarded. You got 3 billion wan, just take the guys to court and dispute the claim. Even as a kid you can come to that conclusion pretty easily.

Either way the plot device is terrible because on one hand it makes no since legally, and on the other hand it would mean the MC is a fucking idiot beyond idiots and you have to build a story around him...

Ill let it slide for now because the story is well received by a lot of people. Ill assume it gets better.

Based on all the gaming manhwa, Korea is a lawless and corrupt land, where the average citizen has the pride of a king and the ability to take action like a rock.

I can't even imagine where to start explaining all the reasons why I dropped it on the 2nd ch. MC is expected to be made of cotton sugar because otherwise three wouldn't be enough troubles to write about, Ive come to bear it for the plot. BUT there is a limit to everything.
