I heard this from my friend who read the novel (MTL one). In the end, she will marry demon king and gave birth to Emi. Also there's another soul inside the 'heroine', the real heroine herself. She was trapped just like Remilia was. The difference is that the true heroine despises the fake/reincarnated one and really want to get close with Remilia/Emi. I forgot if in the end, the true heroine was born as twin with emi or becoming friend with Remilia tho.

otome games are basically dating sims for girls, as far as I know. think Hatoful Boyfriend, but with actual guys instead of pigeons.
so just like dating games some can be very simple... and some can have crazy stories like kinoko nasu's works.

Oh my lord, this manga is so condense to almost no filler at all.

They are jumping from plot points after plot points. No wasted panels.

Came here after re-reading the whole series when the new chapter drops as I do every time since 'Dex came back since this manga is just...ART. Beautiful, fantastical, wonderful, and sometimes horrific art. I don't think an anime of this will look nearly as good but that just means I can share panels with my friends and go LOOK AT THIS. I love that the artist clearly knows how to work in black and white really well, the way it's used is great.

Yeah but usually the supposed "reformed" villainess will try to recapture the "targets", doing some dragging arc like "to meet the goddess of fire, thou must do x" and makes the villainess brain dead until the plot calls for it.

So, having a manga like this is a breath of fresh air.
