If she accepts him for some shitty reason (like I have to forget about my ex so I should give a try) I’m dropping this

On the translation
1. What's a douki? I've been reading manga a long time, I know most of the more frequently untranslated words, but that's a new one for me.
2. "No need for sorry" probably should be "No need to apologize"
3. "I'm afraid to lay bare myself" --> "I'm afraid to lay myself bare"
4. "No need for sorry" should again be "No need to apologize"
5. "I took the plunge and confess" --> "I took the plunge and confessed"

There are also a couple of bits of awkward usage that aren't strictly speaking wrong, but #2-5 there are errors.

Douki (同期, same period) refers to co-workers or colleagues who joined the same company during the same hiring period (usually same year).
It is in contrast to senpai/kouhai.
