your wrong as far as I read quintuplets is not into insets and the whole cast is probably around sexual majority, well at least no 14y old are involved iirc

My comment had nothing to do with the incest, just that there are exactly 5 girls who are all sisters and they all have the same personalities (and to some degree, appearances) as the quints.

Here's a little something about their personalities later on (no details) - not much of a spoiler, but I'll tag it as one anyway.
It gets much better. I have no idea why the author decided to introduce them like this in the first chapter, but each one of them becomes much more likeable in the following chapters. All of them got rid of any (or at least most of in some cases) hostility after the first/first two chapters. It's like they wanted to show their worst sides at the start for some reason.
