@Nk9bjP4A I complained about that a few chapters ago, the author getting too lazy to make actual dialogue except for certain scenes. If you mean the actual noise, have you ever heard/seen a dog take a practice bark before starting up? That's a Waph.

Man, Femme is still the best thing about this manga. The story is only there to give Femme stuff to react to in the background, and I'm loving it. It's like that other isekai about the guy who cooks for his big wolf, where the main character is a total snooze but his pet slime carries the whole show. I wonder how much of it gets added in adaptation?

I have a dog and there's only one person whose butt it has ever tried to sniff and at that time it buried its nose between the person's buttcheeks. I believe it's because that person hadn't wiped their ass well enough the last time they had used the toilet but for obvious reasons I didn't ask for confirmation.
So from my point of view: it's rare but it happens.

@Mortaze I thought that too, but then I remembered bandits are robbers, murderers and rapists. The bigger their bounties the more of that stuff they've done. Therefore I'm okay with them getting killed.

I wonder why mages don't make a bunch of magic circles on paper, basically magic scrolls. You make like 3 of everything you can think of you needing and you need only worry about having the mana to activate them.

Tbh this was probably the best outcome with the bandits. If he killed them, he would probably be regarded as a ruthless killer. If he let them go, everyone would just be angry at him for being so thick-headed.

There’s a lot of quirky animal behavior that gets glossed over in these stories, which is sad. Just canine-wise we could have: excessive humping, dick-bones, getting stuck during copulation, the zoomies, whimpering, tail-chasing, marking territory, licking, panting, dog whistle sensitivity, and much more...

This chapter is a bit melancholy for me since it dropped about 3 hours after we put our dog to sleep. The only time I remember him smelling someone's butt was when my dad was sick and he was bent over the bathtub having trouble standing up, the dog ran up and sniffed his butt while his pants were still down surprising my dad so much he actually managed to jump up despite his illness.
