Oh so she really wasn't her daughter and was actually swapped at birth. Although she said it was written from Eulince's (or w/e her name is) perspective, maybe it's a lie... need more answers

the story is losing consistency little by little for me.
first of all, she read the whole book, right? you mean to tell me that after hearing how much everyone despised her in the palace and that the king didn't even consider her as his daughter, a 9 yo girl so desperate about being loved and surviving, she didn't ONCE considered running away to the mage tower to meet her BIOLOGICAL FATHER who actualy TREATED HER WITH CARE?? and for A WHOLE YEAR????
