Titles got removed from my MDlist

So, I had a pretty simple MDlist called "Favourites" which contained basically all the titles I read or was interested in reading. I would visit it every couple of months to see what's updated.
It had somewhere close to 180 titles in it I think.
Now it has 17.
I would understand it if one or two titles got removed from MD and as a result disappeared from the list but I find it hard to believe that over 150 titles just went up in smoke, especially since a lot were very obscure.

So, the question I have is if there is a way to restore that list in any capacity? This is a bit of a problem for me since while I could probably find some of the "bigger" titles back there is almost no chance I'll be able to remember the obscure ones that are named with full sentences.

Hope I can get some help here.

Only staff can solve that then, the previous two posts were general advise. It may take time for them to answer, from time to time I read that you can get answers quickly asking them on the Discord server, but since I never do that I don't know how reliable is the advise. I don't know if when they rewrote the entire site any data was lost, but I know some old links stopped to work (it happened with several bookmarked titles), depending how that was stored it may have affected the lists. It may be even easy to recover for them, so try asking them.

Likely cause in order of frequency (based on my observations)
  1. You have a second account
  2. You have some sort of language/content rating filter applied
  3. You are didn't actually add things to "that" list but a different one
As a note there is a 10k limit on the number or titles that can be added to a list, but before that around the 200 title mark there is a bug that prevents you from modifying a list outside of adding/removing titles via a title page. Currently my largest MD list is over 300 titles.

Well, none of these things are correct.

1. I only have and ever had one account.
2. I have no content filters, my account is set to display everything.
3. I only ever had 2 lists, "My Translations" and "Favourites". There is no other list for me to add titles to and "Favorites" was a collection of titles that I've slowly amalgamated over several years, not something I just created and spammed a bunch of titles into in one day.

This rather seems to be a bug with MD, one thing I've noticed is that 17 is exactly how many titles fit in the preview tab for the list, and only those 17 titles display in the actual list.
I don't know what caused this but my theory is that the list got truncated to the 17 titles in the preview and everything else got trashed.

Checked in Edge and Firefox private window. Still only 17 titles.
I don't know why people keep thinking this is on my end and treat me like I'm stupid.
If there is no backup of my user data that can be restored just tell me and let's not waste time.

Rather than getting angry. You could try to list all the ways you've tried to test/figure the problem. Speaking personally as someone who used to work (a very short time because my skin is not thick enough for irrated customers) as 1st tier customer service staff for an electronic brand, laptop/pc branch. Literally required to ask if you had turn your device off then turn it on again if the customers do not state they've tried it (eg restart pc, uninstall/rollback updates, update drivers, etc)
So yeah, tl,dr: list everything you've tried on your end when presenting a problem, it saves people's and your time.

Try discord to see if mods could help faster. No guarantee.

We're trying to help you troubleshoot.
I was trying to confirm all the possibilities of this being client-side were false, we can't know what you already tried without your statement.
But yeah, this needs to get checked by a staff member (or not anymore, since the post is marked as solved now).
