so many weird comments here disliking the ending (which you need to read on other sites) but i think it was perfect. do people need it to end with a wedding and a forever after to make it count? how many real life highschool romances do you think end like that? get real... go read cinderella if you wanted fairytales.
mid? and so are you, lol. it was exactly what it said on the tin, in the best way. it started out with a clear misunderstanding about fmc, fooled around with it and had some interesting gags and side character action while at it, then resolved it. wtf else did you expect?
People expected at least some sort of confession, which I get. It's mid as an ending, because the note of the ending is just "Apparently the feelings dont mean much other than it being a joke on the whole romance genre". And people came for a twisted but at least somewhat interesting romance, at least I assume that.
Personally, I just don't like the ending cause it felt unsatisfactory, it could at least have had some sorta confession, and then live just goes on for them, like Horimiya or any other good Romance Manga out there. It could have perfectly ended with an "I like you", either he rejects the feelings, he doesnt or whatever, at least dont fake out the readers or smh. Maybe I'm reading into it too much, idk and idc. It was a alright read, but the ending, in my opinion, just could have been different, not even a acceptance of the confession, but oh well.
