@phil777 like one of those online cam girlfriends? i guess, kind of self blueballing, but unless there's a trick to figuring how to control her strength, i suppose that would do.

@Banarok yeah she is quite bashful and jumpy, which would have been cute, if it wasn't because you risk dying if she makes a sudden movement, imagine getting killed because she got too exited after you gave her a flower bouquet, what a lame way to die, is like you would have to use proxies if you want spoil her. Really her parents must know of a trick to this.

@KazuyaKan The series got axed due to lack of sales and is already over in Japan, it just isn't fully translated. Also word is that it gets really dark near the end (presumably due to aforementioned axing pissing off the author) so be ready for that.

While it's true chapters 18 and 19 can cause mood whiplash, I really think that's just because the author wanted to give the series the only proper conclusion it could have: the pet-raising club, in its entirety, accepts Torako as their friend. Chapter 20 is exactly the kind of happy ending the series should have had and goes back to the silliness of the rest of the series, so I really don't think it was done out of bitterness. The accident was only a means to get there. Suzume even survived fine, with only a small scar on her belly.

Technically it didn't get axed. The magazine it ran in seized publication.

So is it axed or not? The magazine is axed, but is this series axed?

@Antari It was effectively axed, along with several other series running in the magazine. Some series got picked up in another magazine that is still put out by the company, but Torako was not one of them.
