From what I've been able to piece together, he's taken a step back from this to focus on his other work that's blown up in popularity - Class de 2 Banme ni Kawaii Onna no Ko to Tomodachi ni Natta. - honestly up there with horimiya and kaoru hana for fluffy romcoms

Only the author is the same, but not the artist, the novel for this is already technically done anyway, though the artist for this work barely got any activity on xwitter, so who knows what happened

Did he though, with the way the author barely ever engaged with this work at all after the novel ended like 5 years ago, i would think otherwise, like at best only promoted once a manga volume release in comparison to how hard they go with 2nd Girl, even before the adaptation started
