"if she is that easy to guilttrip then she is not strong enough."
to be honest... he is right in that even i hate to admit it.
that city needs to be destroyed. fuck these people. just destroy it. it doesn't deserve to be saved.
Facts. Love the author for going this route.

Most good guy heros never face these sorts of moral dilemmas and end up having everything go there way so this is just refreshing.

What the warrior is saying is harsh. But we've pretty firmly established that this world is all sorts of fucked up. This place is actively assisting with the slow destruction of the world they're in. All so they can monopolize the saint for their peace of mind until the wall of flame consumes them all is my guess.

That said though. The saint is pretty much necessary. Our Hero kinda goes berserk and she's really good at returning him back to sanity. Plus holy magic is still holy magic.

I don't recall everything about the story though mind you. I would probably need to go back a few chapters to recall the exact circumstances here.

Othello has a point, if Ophelia got easily manipulated just because some psychos killed themselves she ain't strong enough to face worse things that might require larger "sacrifices", wonder if she will break free by herself

Big guy's right on all accounts. She's a liability and they really don't need her. To be fair though, she WAS forced into the role against her will just like Ougi, so she's a damsel in distress in several ways. It'd be suicide to go save her, but it'd be cruel to leave her as well. There's just no winning in this scenario. Whole world should just burn though; the amount we would lose is INFINITELY outweighed by the trash and filth. There's only been like one or two side characters who deserved to live, yet died violent and unacceptable deaths anyway.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuck he has a good point. I like Lia, but if she can be broken that easily itll never work out. Theyre not there for one person, theyre there to defeat the demon lord, tho i have to agree with some other comments, this place aint worth saving.
As much as i love the hero isakai trope, part of me hates it cuz they all feel like theyre forcing the fate of the world onto one person and then not worrying about the rest. Like this one does it best cuz the original souls of the hero party refuesed to come back. If that doesn’t speak volumes over how fucked it is nothing will

Considering this world, a terrifying possibility about that refusal is that the original souls FINALLY stopped agreeing to come back. Remember, that lady who was communicating with them at the beginning noted that she wasn't able to revive them properly because there wasn't a whole body. Either this is common knowledge about the spell, or they learned it the hard way when they couldn't properly res the hero party.
