Because I know some people like spoilers, with how long manga can take to get made, then translated... Mind you, I'm not gonna go into too much detail, just broad strokes.

Very soon, he's going to make his most asshole move yet, and immediately be punished for it. He becomes much more compliant and less abrasive afterward, though because he's needed to be an asshole to survive this long in his class and get to the rank he has, it doesn't go away entirely.

The map is partially correct, partially completely wrong, and Celt's actually been doing a good job in protecting the party with a skill tree that lets him sense monster locations to an extent. This is intentional -someone in the guild wanted a wandering lord event with an evolved wandering lord, with the ultimate goal of causing a "Zork", or dream break, in which the wandering lord breaks free of the dungeon on top of becoming even stronger. The maps being messed up, and parties getting different versions, is to prevent the parties from having a safe-ish way to flee the wandering lord, depriving it of one of the conditions for its third form: killing high-level adventurers.

Two primary future arcs.
Luce and Elma get word of a rare dungeon's appearance from Celt, and while investigating with the goal of helping Luce get a critical-heavy skill tree, happen across the daughter of Marquee Howlod, Lady Snow, and her escort knight after chasing a super-rare Golden Merchant Rana. Elma and the knight duel, under the pretense of the knight making sure whether our MC's are skilled enough to explore the rare dungeon, but actually trying to kick them out without breaking agreements between the guild and the Marquee house. They part ways, only to reunite a short time later when bandits accost the noble lady, followed by an attack from the dungeon's wandering lord, led there in another attempt to take her life. Lady Snow gives Luce the skill book our MC's were hunting for, which proves vital in defeating the boss.

Luce and Elma get roped into smoking out the core players in the recent Evolved Dream Lord incidents by Marquee Howlod, and in turn, rope Celt and Mabel into joining them in another large-scale dungeon expedition. Ostensibly, their role is the same as it was in this arc: investigate abnormalities in the dungeon. However, their true role is to rush to the boss room, and wait in ambush to discover who within the guild intends to evolve, then trigger a wandering lord event. Within the dungeon, they work to level Mabel up so she can learn a skill Elma deems vital, and they meet a monster behaving far outside Elma's knowledge of the game, which ultimately drops an accessory they give to her. After over a year without updates, the Author finally released some chapters recently, revealing the culprit... Kalos, the Black Flame. Working alongside a cult that's dedicated to destroying the world "on behalf of the Creator God", Kalos intends to create Zorks all across the land... all so they can have a good fight.

I'm assuming the reveal's gonna be that there's some kind of illusion/confusion enchantment in the dungeon and that the "weird path" is actually just the path that avoids it. By going off-route they get forced into wandering into this place /a boss encounter/whatever.
Shouldn't this be mentioned during the mission briefing or at least as a note on the map?

Hmm, did the dungeon got a strange gimmick like the path always change to a specific path based on the route that they take before? Like they can go up up but they cant go right up left up/left...
