I don't agree with using Zerg. This is not a meta RPG isekai full of direct references and dedicated to exploring the tropes of the genre, therefore "adjusting" the names to make them sound familiar diminishes from the otherworldliness of the setting. Translating Zooku for Zerg would make sense if, in the context of Japanese culture, Zooku had a cultural identity whose equivalent in English culture was Zerg.

Thanks for the translation.

Zooku vs. Zerg...does there really need to be any reference or familiarity connecting to another existing franchise? Zooku sounds fine. Honestly, Zork sounds a little silly.

Time for some bunkers!

Btw, that woman made the “death smile” (a close relative of a death flag), im expecting she’ll turn up dead next chapter.
Death smile? Where, the bottom of page 14? Oh, you mean the middle of page 10?

Most folks won't mind a smidge of creative liberty, especially without a direct translation... or sometimes even with one. MHA translators are why they're called "quirks" and not "individualities" which is the more direct translation of kosei.

IMO based on various manhua with the dungeons IRL theme (e.g. Solo Levelling.), "Break" would be a reasonable term to use for a dungeon releasing its contents into the outside world. "Zerg" is fine too though!

Putting aside the cultural meaning of “Zooku”, I’d probably prefer to match it to something like “dungeon break”, “monster parade”, or something edgier like “emergence event”. Though in the context of a transmigration from a game world into reality, calling a horde of monsters a “zerg” has some interesting implications about no creatures being an NPC. Not that this manga would be subtle enough to suggest that monsters might be anything but.

Anyhow, if someone can find a half literal translation of “Zooku” I’d go for that. Maybe it’s a strange Japanese portmanteau/acronym, or reference to folklore or an old game. If it’s just a made up word then keep it as is, change it for something more meaningful, or even just make up a completely different word. Doesn’t really matter. Zork isn’t terrible.
