She didn't curse him, she gives him the blessing to talk every single language except the hyuman one.

The ability of talking every language is a god like power that a mortal body cannot accept, that why Makoto cannot learn it either, if he learns it he either ascends to god or die.

As for his ugliness, Makoto is a normal looking guy in his original world, but since the goddess make the hyuman all particularly beautiful, our normal is ugly for them.

He was compared as a dog, as a kobold to be exact. And it's not a curse, it's the same phenomenon has to have a normal guy in a room full of particularly smart guy, he will be seen as stupid despite being regular.

I still hate that he isn't ugly yet they treat him like it. Should've made at least had a gag or two where he looks like isekai uncle from others perspectives

He's ugly for the standards of the world which was designed by the goddess to only contain beautiful hyumans. It's like if a village girl during the dark ages suddenly got reincarnated into modern day South Korea. They wouldn't really be ugly by the standards of their time, they may even be considered attractive for their time, but in the modern era, their appearance would not be up to the standard of the society they live in, making them "ugly" (or at minimum plain), except this is arguably more extreme because every human is specifically noted to be supermodel levels of beautiful without exception. It's a similar idea to Isekai Ojisan, except in that world, we know ugly people do exist. In this world, he might as well be a different species.

We never did, but my guess is that it has something to do with when the parents were being transferred over. They said that they offered something precious when they transferred over, and while I don't think that "their eldest's son's looks" are part of it, maybe it somehow got taken alongside the precious thing? I mean, even the goddess is baffled as to why he isn't beautiful, so it's probably something that will be revealed later.

Anime was good, but damn, there is so much more context in the manga that was missing from anime. I was wandering why did he go to the date with Mio and Tomoe, so that's why

I had just watched a short of what I assume is the second season... I guess I was right in thinking the anime skipped a metric fuckton of exposition and context. Had this been any other series, this point of the manga would at least be season 4
