The story is about another OP MC except there's little character growth for anyone. They all just become tools for the story to progress in the direction the writer wants without most of them changing their personality even a little. The only character that does any real changing is Mio. The rest, even the MC, could die in the next chapter and most people wouldn't even care.

Could be, Demon General Rona outright said she was going to meet him a few chapters back. Braight/Bright/Blight sensei is also sus, previously implied he was working with the demons when he was talking with that demi-human, but after this chapter he might be working with the older librarian sis.
So the new student could be Rona and Bright is working with someone else, possibly the librarian sis, or the new student isn't Rona and is someone else important later, and Bright is working with the demons, hence why he tried to setup a meeting for MC with influential people.

Whats up with this series never having the MC mature? I know the monster girls are keeping him "innocent" but really at this point it's become a plot crutch and he should be no longer this naive to how this world is. Especially after multiple things that have directly happened to him. Also we are still just skipping by that whole teleport situation like as if it never happened? If I was the MC I'd have alot of questions about it since it essentially set him up to be assassinated.

I mean he is 15 years old, from a modern 1st world and practically sociopathic, any maturity is going to take much longer than a year to occur. Think about how mature most highschoolers are.

They are naturally blissfully unaware of the external power at his disposal as well. Eh I don't remember Makoto being particularly intelligent in the WN, though I guess he has some innate intellect in handling his power. He has good people around him doing the thinking, ie Tomoe, Shiki, Rembrandt.
