Ya know..
Of everyone, Hikaro and Rio are dealing with all of this the best.
They are the ones who are still functioning in a normal manner of all concerned.
They actually do seem capable of a selfless love, of not allowing their personal desires to negatively impact how they interact with others.
So, while I'm decidedly in the Hikaro/Hotaruko camp, I'd be quite happy with a Hikaro/Rio ending. Although the latter wouldn't be good for the friend who is interested in Rio.
And I'm also rooting for the TV lady in regard to Madoka.
