Damn... never expected an idol.
lol that’s def a hilarious twist tho wonder how she would’ve figured it out before the first handshake meet unless it’s been building for a while

Wonder how an arsonist becomes an idol lol, imagine if she had planned some event to replace the sprinklers with gas and intended to set her audience ablaze lol (unless there’s ANOTHER twist where the idol is the husbands ex affair partner but that might be too extra even if no one seriously said the idol was the culprit)

That said it’d be a hilariously messed up troll move if someone cropped the panels to make it seem like this was some rom com series with Spica and the idol and end up finding the story this way (something something “toxic yuri”)

I mean they put way too much emphasis on her constantly going on about that idol for me to call it a twist. It actually makes it feel a little too basic to me. The front story was about him trying to get the murderer he felt was obvious. And we're already conditioned to look for a twist. This naturally predisposes us to think thats a red herring.
I think they should have given me more about the idol besides Spica being a fan. Cause as it is its more just Chekov's gun in overdrive. If they make a third twist somehow maybe ill be surprised.

What? The idol was the culprit? Guess this one is going to keep us guessing no matter what since her dropping hints that she loved a favorite idol and was buying her merch was all just a red herring. Probably bought all that stuff to get one of those "handshake/polaroid" tickets they used to sell in CDs and all that. Not sure if they still do that anymore but I remember seeing those stories where crazy otaku were buying thousands of CDs to get tickets.

I dunno about the set up on this one, isn't the point of murder mysteries supposed to be that there are clues sprinkled in so that it isn't completely out of nowhere?

Detective being focused on revenge toward a child killer due to guilt over his own daughter's death is random, and idol girl who Spica went to see suddenly being the murderer is also out of nowhere besides the "whistling" which only just got tied to her.

I'm also trying to figure out what Spica's "weakness" is, so far all I can think is that she's willing to commit murder herself so she's vulnerable to being caught if she's careless, but other than that there is no "downside" to her ability at all.

Edit: Looked through past chapters and still any clues are sparse. Only thing I'm seeing is that original Husband suspect might be listening to the Idol's music since the Fwee sounds coming from headphones are the same as what Idol is listening to/whistling. Other unresolved part is the "noise complaint" that someone downstairs from Husband suspect made which sent him into a rage. Maybe he's an otaku follower of Idol who was listening loudly to her music at home and always visits her at shows, and Idol actually loves him and wanted the family out of the way for him to focus on her?

bruh wtf is this twist
It’d be nice if the next case was more straightforward and rely on twists, or having Spica plan a more clever trap bc while she was able to take out two men, even if she reads someone’s mind it doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll be able to overpower someone who’s like a black belt or has some kinda weapon

Or maybe some cultist /someoje with multiple personalities who had their mind messed with and flooded with images of death but are technically innocent but idk if that’d occur versus someone trying to lure spica out
