after careful review and rereading the series and reading alot of H korean manga...

I came to the realization that it's okay to have supporting characters have their thing too I mean we all need some luvin you know wut I mean?

I will let it slide since the main couple seem to be progressing better than I initially though.


However as soon as more couples are introduced or the chapters begin to mainly focus the supporting characters instead of the main couple mark my words I will literally flip ship and fuck shit up.

@kronix - Then fair warning: the next chapter is a direct continuation of this chapter, and therefore about Aoi, Manabu and Satoshi. It's also short. This and the next chapter could well have been a single chapter, except the mangaka seems to have wanted to end this chapter with Aoi all messed up.

@kronix - There are twelve more chapters. The story ends nicely, but is open-ended. This is a middle-school romance drawn by a female mangaka, so don't expect anything H.

And frankly, if there were anything hentai about this, I wouldn't be working on it. I have my standards.

The thing about "side" couples is that they are multifunctional: they serve as a foil to the main characters' hijinks, serve as a break from usual drama and/or give us different drama to think about, introduce new stories without having to jump to another manga and lets us know more about the life of the seconday characters that we may end up linking, wanting to know more about and avoids having them become one-time characters.

I mean, look at the main couple: all misunderstandings got resolved fairly quickly, they get over their emotional issues rather fast, spend goot time together learning more about the other and overall are a healthy couple that progresses at a good pace; if we didn't have side couples and side stories then the manga would've ended in the second volume and not only we'd wouldn't get to see more about the main couple but we'd lose our minds screaming at them for the mistakes they'd have to make in order to keep the story interesting.

@Nolonar: Thanks, but I did just that some time ago when the block user feature became available. Unfortunately, it has no affect here in the comment sections. Indeed, I don't know if it has any affect at all, anywhere. There also doesn't seem to be an easily accessible list of your blocked users.

FWIW, I think this site is remarkably well featured, considering how young it is. It only came into existence early this year, after all.

That said, there is still room for improvement. It had some pretty big shoes to fill taking over for Batoto.

Thinking of which, somebody bought up the old Batoto domain and has created a cookie-cutter pirate site. It looks pretty much like any one of a dozen or more copy-cat sites out there. Just not like the old Batoto, nor like this site.
