Why is the female lead so stupid? She literally could have told the emperor that something of mine fell where I fainted can you help me look for it. The fact she ran away without a word after being in a comatose state for an extended period of time, forgetting her position as empress, had the emperor been less understanding, her servants could have all been executed due to negligence. Not to mention, she keeps avoiding asking the emperor, the one person who so far she knows doesn’t bother to lie to her face and says it how it is. She’s really a frustrating character. While strong in personality, she’s also very stupid.

@darknesspker I think she's just used to being on her own and not being able to rely on anyone but herself to deal with her problems. She grew up in an orphanage then left as soon as she could and has been on her own since then. Had to solve her problems on her own. Of course her first thought wouldn't be asking for help but for looking for a solution. Also, she's a problem-solver, we've seen that in her flashbacks. (And a doormat but that's a whole other topic - and that's what makes me frustrated about her character. I mean, yeah, CS team but I don't even see her trying to get out of that place in her head.)

Oooh such a good misdirection! I thought she was all escape! Escape! Last chapter but the desperation was coz of her lost power bank. The pleasant thing is she at least thinks it's fair to thank the emperor for saving her. I'm hopeful her opinion of him gets better!

Yeah she's frustrating, and it's not like the emperor would be suspicious of her things I mean he operated a phone before but he doesn't really know what it is. I'm hoping we get to the part where she'll trust him enough (though she's no problems with 'trusting' that super shady dude who smashed her battery)
Overall she's witty but really frustrating, though if you know Ibelina from Duke's Maid she's wayy more exasperating to read
