They went for a couple days at a time. And I think someone else posted that it costs roughy 400 bucks per day.

Assuming rival site or troll

How much traffic/time (on ad fill page like kiss anime or mangafox) or seedboxing would it take?

I'd heard others talk about it possibly being from a rival site, but doing this just seems petty. What can MD do if this keeps happening?
