As a part time farmer, I hate how farming is portayed on the isekais. Being a farmer in real life its a pain the ass, a lot of labour, and very little economic remuneration.
But again, what do you expect of isekais. They are all bad.

Imagine working for half a year and then realise that your years worth of revenue goes down the drain due to natural disasters.

Imagine not having a natural disaster, you still have pay for your loans on all your equipment and hope that whichever dumbass got elected doesn't cut your subsidaries. Even when the harvest is good, you have the problem of each plant is being worth less, sometimes to the point that its not worth the transport fee to the cushy cities that not only kids don't eat their greens but even fully grown adults. Some rather get obese on more savory food or literally don't have the money/time/motivation from their entry level jobs to create balanced meals.

Even when the supply/demand is good, most of the money goes to the supermarket giants who undercut independent farmers with their own slave wage farmers.

ISEKAI farming is a dream

I wasn't a farmer but I did work in a barn caring for the animals and clean out pastures for a few years and geez was it harder than one would expect. I can only imagine how hard being a full time farmer is.

I would say Omega brad CN MC is generally worse because it leans towards Gary Stu

Pretty much this. I personally find the power fantasies of Manhua, as well as Manhwa, to be waaaay less appealing than even the worst Manga power fantasies. Their 'rule of cool' just doesn't 'vibe' with me, as the kids say.

And don't even get me started on webtoons. The kind of crudeness in those is what you'd expect 13-year-olds, and only 13-year-olds, to find funny/interesting/well-written. I'm hyperbolizing a bit, yeah, but still.

@bigtiddyoneesan i have no idea how to work mangadex so i'm sorry if this doesn't like.. work. but thanks for replying! sorry for not being specific on a genre. obviously, not all male mcs suck asshole. most of the manga and anime i watch is slice of life, which is a tad boring in and of itself and there really isn't much room for the male mc to have much of a character in the first place than to be the observer in the story. doesn't make me less annoyed with them though.. i really dislike the asshole / loser mc that's just constantly vague. i really enjoy when slice of life manga has an mc that actually does something out of the box or interacts with the girl character in a way that isn't just boring. bland. no flavor. i usually read a lot of gyaru manga, and if you've read a nice handful you'll notice that the male mc is a literal asshole half the time. it's just so boring to hear the same slut shaming judgmental male mc. on the other hand, i actually have seen a lot of good male mcs and for me they're usually in drama or psychological horror manga. sorry for rambling but those are just my detailed thoughts

Is this bait? This has to be. In fact, the opposite is true. I'd take a Chen Fan/Beixuan over a thousand rimurus and the whole cast of stein's gate.
With the chinese mcs, you know what you're getting, nobody is muddying the water, no extolling one's virtues through forced scenes with one dimensional villians that are "Racist", "Sexist" or whatever and most importantly, no beating around the bush/pussyfooting. They get straight to the point and don't mess around. I don't know how you guys can swallow the shit wrapped in a fig leaf that is slice of life and frankly, I don't really care. I guess its just shit taste. Also, Omegas are not chads. That's a stupid conflation. Seeing people unironically say they take jap mcs over chinese mcs really speaks volumes as to how shit your tastes are.

If you haven't already, you should really read Yugami-kun Has No Friends. The MC in that manga is easily one of my favorite SoL main characters.
