He'd probably be locked on a dungeon for the rest of his life doing it over and over for some inescrupulous king just to stay alive. Staying low profile is better. Thats also why he only sells so much of the monsters drops, he could get rich overnight even before his skill was max level, just by regrowing a single type of drop from a weak enemy or a plant, but that would be shady AF.

At least it could be his reasoning and why hes being always so careful. Who knows now that he decided to go out there; he could have been holding back just because he wanted to heal his waifu first.
