I think she turned him off because she afraid of somehow end up being emotionally hurt, as the only experience with a person she really likes (in general, I mean) is with her sister, which is a completely mess.

I think that, because how she basically has to be the sane one in her family, it's hard for her to relax and have more casual relationships with others. On the last panels, her friend basically says that even if she didn't really felt love for the guy she could've at least tried going on a date to see how things go. But Imoko feels like she has to take things seriously all the time.
