I have given up on this having anywhere near of a decent pacing and a good protagonist. He will fumble every single time until the author and the publisher decide it's enough and he just gets with the blond chick in like 1 chapter (after fumbling over and over and over) and that's it.

A controversial take, but I haven't given up at all. The series has been very consistent at meeting my expectations. It has pretty well flowing character drama, good comedy and great fanservice. I'm also genuinely enjoying the plot and I actually cheered on Saotome rejecting former Prez. I want to see where it goes next and what will happen to these characters further down the line.
