I think Kuzuhana is still the most possible winner here out of the girls. As much as we are seeing the other girls getting more and more to the end point, with them confessing they like MC, they still do it in a round-about way that denser than brick Hodaka still overthinks their confession.

Also, the sub-text is what is most important here. Sure the others have confessed their feelings to him, but they keep on ignoring the most important thing here; what he feels. They all just keep pushing themselves onto MC, but time after time it's only Kuzuhana that knows and sees what he's feeling most of the time.

i don’t really agree with that though. he's definitely the closest to hanako, but there hasn't been much romantic development with anyone (from saotome's pov) until this arc. and i wouldn't say none of the girls care about him (except maybe takae), they just feel rushed after ushigome confessed to him because they don’t want him to only see her feelings, which it seems they have all realized by now. the only girl we've seen straight up disregard his feelings is takae, who came onto him after he was expressing how stressed he was from receiving ushigome's confession. i feel like we're reaching the endgame after this arc but i believe the series will take more time with each girl to give saotome time to realize how they feel and how he feels. we all know he'll end up with hanako in the end though
