Why are people lost? The only thing we didn't know was his final form. We knew Junk-san had powered up after coming to terms with what was inside him and brining back Rokka. We also knew that he could merge with multiple youkai and he had different forms before, we've seen it in previous chapters. We knew that he was heading here with all of his youkai harem to fight with edge-lord over here. We also know that edge-lord Araya(?) over here was attacking the GCUP headquarters. I'm wondering why people are lost all of a sudden.

Yes, it would have been nice to get a preview of the new form before this battle but it seems to me that the author was trying to wrap up the story quickly. It feels like there should have been at least one more arc between the quest to find Rokka and this arc. But we don't have the time or luxury for that. From what I heard this story was cancelled/axed/ended prematurely and the author made the best of the final few chapters (or maybe last volume?) he had left. Although I wonder if that's true since in most cases authors get one or two (maybe even three) chapters to wrap up an axed story. So what I heard may have been a lie.

Finally, if Junk-san being "joined" with all of them at the same time doesn't spell out harem then I'll be dammed. If they only 'Join' bodies in this form I 'll be disappointed. Although I feel as if the author doesn't have the guts to do that. Or more precisely he has written Junk-san as being incapable of managing/maintaining a proper harem. Expecting an ending where Junk-san stays a virgin but continues living with all the girls who constantly fight over his junk.
