Yea, It called being organised. From the database in the computer, she knows about the date mc borrowed, the name of the book, and where to find it.

There is no subtext, no need to even think deep, it's right there in the word, in the picture. Do you even read, or you just skip pages and then complain? Let me guess, when you play video games, you skip all cutscene, then critize the game for being "not making sense".

It kinda takes a missing book a little too seriously. The Buff Librarian overreacts way too much to a kid having not returned one book. (if he's a highschooler, that would mean he was max 8 years old when he borrowed that book.)

Pro tip: most libraries give you several years before they mark the book as lost.

Recently a lot of libraries have stopped charging overdue fees too (or have forgiveness programs) So if you have an overdue book go return it!
