it's the text he said honestly, dude was in the right track recalling the temperature but if i have to say mc "compressed" his water with enough pressure to turn it into ice which was his speciality thanks to that "Water Shot" magic

might be the wording choice then again mc wasn't a highly educated person just a random orphan grown up to a black company slave

and an extra note here is that yes ice can be formed from compressed water it's another phase of ice that was named officially as "ICE-7"

so technically nothing is wrong for now

Oh, I was aware of that. I even consulted the water phase change diagram to see how much pressure he'd need to actually make ice between 0 and 100°C. But it takes 3 GPa (or 30 kbar) of pressure to make ICE VII which is pretty insane. I mean, there's only 108 MPa of pressure at 11,5 Km in the Mariana trench... And, what happens when he lets go of the pressurising magic on such ice in a regular atmosphere?

So yeah, I'm going with it being a mistake.

in earlier chapter it mentioned about able to adjust the temp as well, so being strictly within the 0-100 range, author vagueness

the fight choreo is horrendous, mostly because a monster of this size would have eaten MC alive several times already if it weren't just standing around all the time. that the father and the maid just stand around just ads insult to injury.

I have no problem with author wanting to show off that the MC learned a new kind of magic, but the execution is absolutely terrible.
